Romain Gagnon

About the author

Romain Gagnon pursued his university studies in engineering at the École Polytechnique de Montreal. He has primarily devoted his career to entrepreneurship but has always maintained a scientific involvement in his businesses. In his spare time, he is passionate about outdoor activities and gastronomy. In 2004, Romain wrote "Vivre mince, gourmand et en santé", a nutrition book with a unique evolutionary perspective. He then participated in televised debates and gave multiple lectures on the topic. He also published several articles on nutrition as well as on socio-political subjects. Romain has always been captivated by profound existential questions. The book "So Man Created God in his Own Image", the opening lines of which were penned fifteen years earlier, is the realization of a long-held dream, made possible due to professional and personal circumstances that came about in his life between 2018-2019. This book doesn't merely debunk the myths of religions but also offers alternative paths for spiritual growth. Romain then penned "Vers l'abrutissement de l'espèce humaine", an essay that is anything but politically correct, confronting contemporary delusions from both the left and the right. In it, Romain notably anticipated the COVID-19 pandemic and other unfolding disasters. Romain has recently written "The Biology of Love", an unusual guide about romantic relationships, rooted in both his own misadventures and the latest findings in evolutionary psychology.
